This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of team dynamics and leadership. 

It combines theoretical concepts with practical applications, preparing students for effective teamwork and leadership in various organizational contexts.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Recognize and describe team dynamics, roles, and responsibilities.
2. Understand and apply various leadership theories and styles to different situations and challenges.
3. Identify and comprehend the role of informal leadership, including the dynamics and potential risks of informal/formal leadership.
4. Identify how to build trust and foster a positive team culture.
5. Apply communication strategies for effective teamwork and constructively manage team conflicts.
6. Understand performance management and evaluation in teams to competently assess and improve team performance.
7. Grasp the ethical aspects of leadership and social responsibility.
8. Analyze case studies and competently apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.

In-Person Activities:

• Input: Getting an overview of fundamentals or making a deep dive into special topics
• Discours: Challenges for teams and leadership approaches are discussed in controversial debates.
• Serious Games: You will apply team and leadership theories in complex simulations. Our objective is to experience, observe and understand the impact of leadership and team dynamics on the team results.
